How do I know if I have German Roaches?
Adult German roaches are 1/2 to 5/8 inches long, light brown to tan, with two dark stripes behind the head. Females are often seen carrying a yellowish-brown egg capsule (ootheca) protruding from the end of the abdomen. Nymphs are generally darker with two prominent dark stripes surrounding a lighter tan spot or stripes
They can be found throughout a home but are most often found in areas that are warm and have a higher moisture content, such as kitchens or bathrooms. If you are seeing roaches on your countertops, around the refrigerator or stove, or in the bathrooms it is a good sign that you are seeing german roaches and need to have them treated professionally!
Our treatment for German roaches consists of TWO service visits, 2 weeks apart where our certified technician will use both bait and chemical to help get the infestation under control. Most low to mid level infestations can be handled with 2 trips but depending on the severity of the infestation, additional service appointments may be necessary and will need to be scheduled within 2-4 weeks of the 2nd treatment.
It is also important that during the treatment process you keep your home as clean and decluttered as possible. Eliminating trash, sealing containers of food, and cleaning all dirty dishes promptly will make the treatment that much more effective and will speed up control.
